Precision, Prediction, Prevention: How startups are redefining HealthTech. She’ll share how AI and data are shifting healthcare from reactive treatment
To aid authors and reviewers of AI manuscripts in medical imaging, we encourage the use of CLAIM, the Checklist for AI in Medical Imaging.
Introduced in March 2020, CLAIM was modeled after the STARD guideline and was extended to address applications of AI that include classification, segmentation, and reconstruction of medical images.
The CLAIM 2024 Update addresses the rapid evolution of medical imaging AI. The updated guideline incorporates the consensus of the 72 volunteer members of the CLAIM 2024 Update Panel: AI scientists, statisticians, journal editors, and physicians in various imaging–related medical specialties, including radiology, cardiology, pathology, endoscopy, dermatology, and ophthalmology.
Through a formal Delphi consensus survey process, the Update Panel reviewed existing checklist items and identified new content to reflect current science in artificial intelligence. We thank the members of the CLAIM 2024 Update Panel for contributing their time and energies.
The following resources have been updated as of 2024:
